Circle Sisters "Happy Fall " Blog Hop

Welcome to the Fall Blog Hop with  my Circle Sisters!
You should be coming from the very talented  Roberta . If you've just happened to come across my blog please check out each of these talented ladies blogs. You will want to start at Kristen's blog for the beginning of the hop. So sit down, relax and come join us, you do not want to miss a thing.

Fall is my favorite season.  I love the cooler temps., the crisp feeling in the air, and the view around us is unbelievable.

I love the fall colors and I tend to use them alot in my projects.  So coming  up with a project for this hop was fairly simple, at least for the colors to be used was.
I made a  Fall gift box , my son just left for college so I thought it would be fun to fill with some goodies and  send it  his way.

Recipe for this box:   Sesame Street Seasons cart-   Box  7.78 X 9.15
                                FlowerShoppe cart  -  Leaves  3.00 & 2.50 in  layered
Creative Critter cart  -  Acorn  2.00 in
Plantin SchoolBook   - Letters  1.25 in
                                DCWV Harvest Gathering  cardstock

SU markers and ink  -  shading and faux stitching

Now for some candy... what's a hop without candy, right??

Just leave a comment and a way to find you if you win.  You don't need to be a follower to win but I would really love it if you were.  I'll be choosing a winner on Monday evening.

Thanks for stopping! Now head on over to Renee's , another super talented Circle Sister, and see what she has created.
Have a great day and have fun hopping!!

Round Shaped Card- CTO challenge #27

Welcome to another new challenge at Celebrate the Occasion.    Our challenge this week is to create a project for any occasion but it must be a  "Round Shape".

I decided to celebrate friendships.   As my Grandma Tillie used to say " No matter how dented up the can, there's always a lid that fits."     My true friends are my lids in life, they accept and love me  for being me....flaws and all.    And that is the meaning of my nonperfect circle card.
The recipe for my card:
      A Child's Year cart- silhouette   3 in
      Groovy Time's cart  -  circle-  5.5 in
      DCWV cardstock
Stampin Up stamp and ink- sentiment
      Bakers Twine
      Spots and Dots Cuttlebug folder
Stampin Up marker - faux stitching
      Ribbon is from my stash

Now we want to see what you create, but first, go to CTO's  website get inspired by the very creative and talented designers and then submit your project.

Thanks for Looking and have a Great day!!

Back to School - CTO challenge #25

Welcome to another fun challenge at Celebrate the Occasion.  This week its Team #1's  turn to be challenged  and we had to create a project for " Back to School."   Well... its been awhile for me but I do remember those days and all the excitement that happens around this time.... especially for the parents  LOL!
Anyway, On to my project

I  used an empty cartridge box, since I have a few of those laying around, and covered it with some Cosmo Cricket paper.  The pencils and apple  are cut with the  Locker Talk  cartridge and attached with pop- dots, to add some dimension.   Now, it just needs  to to  be filled  with the school necessities such as pens ,pencils, glue, erasers, etc. and off to school they go.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek. I know you'll want  to be a part of this challenge so head on over there, check out all the other fabulous projects and then enter yours.  We sure would love to see it!

I'm also entering this in 2 other Back to School challenges -

Have a great day!!

When Nature Calls...

I just love the Creative Critters cartridge and I've just been waiting for something to use this cut for, that skunk is sooo cute!!  My SIL, Tina, may want to hurt me after she sees this but...well.... she loves me and  I'm her scrappin buddy  :)   Tina and I were were out in Boston for 2 weeks in June and this was taken at Chapin Beach in Cape Cod.  Why I took this picture, I have  no idea,  but I sure did have fun with it.
All the paper used is from Stampin Up and the bottle caps are from my stash.  I used Campin Critters cart, the skunk cut at 3.5in  and the sign is 4.5.
I'm entering this into 2 challenges - Tattered Times and  Scrappy Mom's Stamps

Thanks for looking!
