April Sketch

It's time once again for our monthly sketch by Shannon, from The Scrapping Stamper.
For some reason I really struggled with this sketch.  But then the other day I was looking through my paper stash and I came across a stack of Kaiser Craft  papers. That is when  things started to click. This is what I ended up with, the title reads  " Swinging with Grandma".  The picture isn't the best, so its a little hard to read.
So, all the paper used is Paper Crafts except for what's behind the pictures. That is a piece of Bazzill  and I hand-stamped in with  SU black ink and a SU  stamp. The title is from the Gypsy Font , cut at 1.75in and welded together. The flowers and brads are from my stash.

BLOG CANDY ALERT------    Head over to Shannon's   and see what the other designers came up with, they all did an awesome job!  Leave a comment and mention that I sent you,  the designer with the most comments wins. along with one of her commenters. So go give some love!!

Thanks for looking!!  Hope you all have a great weekend.

Celebrate the Occasion CH# 9

Hello Everyone and welcome to another great challenge with Celebrate the Occasion.  For this week, we are celebrating Spring or Easter.  For the challenge you needed to use a punch somewhere on your project. This is such a great time of year, everything is so fresh and new, and brings such joy to everyone.  For this challenge I made an Easter card.
I really love this card and all the colors used, it is so bright and cheerful.
It's a standard A2 card, I used the Easter solutions cart for the saying and is cut at 2in. The paper used is from DCWV, the chicks are a Martha Stewart border punch and I heat embossed them with MS embossing powder.  The daisies I found in my stash and I used a white gel pen for the faux stitching on the letters.

Thanks for stopping by , please check out  the other designers , they all have some awesome creations. When you are done doing that , start creating and join in on the fun. You just need to link your project at Celebrate the Occasion's blog and you can be entered in for the prize.
